Model sailboat enthusiasts sit by the Andrew Haydon Park pond and watch their sailboats round the buoys at a regular summer sailboat race meeting. The scene is many times duplicated with larger sailboats from the Nepean sailing club out racing in the distance around a course on the river, the racing tactics and skills need to win are similar.
